About SageHaus Living

At SageHaus Living, we offer a new approach to retirement living focused on the Home Counties. Developed through extensive market research, our model allows you to enjoy an independent lifestyle without the seismic, and often unpopular, shift from a large family home to a high-density urban apartment.

Instead, we provide a more gradual transition, moving from your house to a beautifully designed bungalow or cottage that’s easier to manage as your needs change. You’ll still have your own front door and garden, with care and support available should you ever need it.

We’re meticulous about sustainability and design, and we know you are too. Every SageHaus home combines contemporary style with the latest smart technology for comfort, efficiency, and peace of mind.

Get To Know The People Behind Our Mission

The SageHaus Living team comprises best-in-class property development, professionals, with more than 70 years combined experience in designing, delivering and managing exceptional UK property, including some of the most prestigious new residential and retirement developments in the country.

Founded in 2020 we have a portfolio of 7 retirement communities, either in development or awaiting planning with around 500 units and a total sales value over £500 million

Who We Are

The directors founded the business with a clear intention: to create a retirement offering so lacking in the UK that even their own parents would want to move to it. That same mindset guides every decision we make as a business.

Simon Westray

  • 19 years’ experience in real estate and 5 years specialising in the senior living sector.
  • Responsible for the strategic direction of the business, leveraging his extensive experience and network to originate opportunities and implement a robust business plan.
  • Simon has held senior roles for development companies within the Living sector and has acquired over 25 major residential schemes with a combined GDV exceeding £550m.

Oliver Clegg

  • 23 years of experience spanning construction, commercial management, and property development.
  • In his role, Oliver leads strategic decision-making processes, ensuring that all initiatives align with the company’s overarching goals and objectives.
  • Founder and operator of multiple successful real estate businesses, with a current annual turnover of £3Om.

Mark Quinn

  • 22 years’ experience in Property, residential development, and construction. § Responsible for sourcing and analysing opportunities as well as managing the delivery and sales process.
  • Founder and board member of multiple businesses over the past decade, with deep expertise in steering strategic direction to deliver strong investor returns.

Dr Steve Ladyman

  • 40 years’ experience in healthcare and managerial positions in major senior living operators.
  • Responsible for advising on SageHaus Livings care operation and procedures.
  • Stephen is a recognised authority in the UK healthcare sector having been a former Minister for Health with responsibility for Social Care and served on the boards of several national retirement living businesses.
